DELETE MESSAGE FEATURE IS FOR ALL CHATS IS NOW OFF 


WhatsApp beta for Android 2.20.83 and 2.20.84: what’s new?


WhatsApp hadd launched the feature of delete message about a year ago which was intended for all chats initially but now the company has decided to launch it for group chats only. About two months earlier it was reported that the delete message feature in whatsapp would only work for group chats and not the private chats.



However, as upto new details, the function should work with all chats.

automatically delete messages in a chat.

In these new 2.20.83/2.20.84 updates, WhatsApp has reintroduced the Delete Messages feature for individual chats again.


Now user can select that  how long new messages will last before they are deleted:


 the Delete / remove Messages option will work for private chats too.
When the user enables the feature, a clock icon will appear in the PoPup

This feature is under development and it will be available in future.
